Artist or graphic designer? it is not easy for a young artist to decide what they want to become. The question is what is the difference between an artist and a graphic designer. If you do not have an idea where your passion is, and how to build an artistic career, just start from a drawing. Next, try to develop your artistic skills in a passionate way. Artists create art from feelings and convey a message to the intented audience to find a sympathetic love their idea. It is freedom to realize your creative ideas and impart those feelings upon an audience. Designers use their skills and knowledge to realize communication with their intended audience to touch their emotions and ideas.

So, can you tell the difference? Graphic designers should be able to create visual art from someone else’s ideas; and use their creative vision to embody this idea in the art frame.

If you are ready to become a graphic designer and work for a client, you need to learn how to communicate with your customers and understand their ideas, and have a basic understanding of merchandising. Also you need to be ready to learn about digital programs and their updates. Using new creative digital programs will demand from you new knowledge of how to use the changing digital tools to achieve your desired results.

To sum up, the Digital Designer is more complicated and requires more skill and experience to master the Adobe programs that can help realize a clients ideas. When I started taking design classes and began to learn about the Digital Programs, I was amazed and surprised how much knowledge and understanding I needed to learn to became a Digital Artist.
